Villa Moglia and Villa Azzura: Italy July 2015
Villa Moglia is a large abandoned Mansion in Italy set in gated grounds.
Sadly this site has seen better days lots of graffiti cover the building and severe damage has been caused by vandalism and general neglect. Due to the overgrowth and damage, access around the site was not easy so only a few shots were taken here.
It was a real shame to see this beautiful building covered in graffiti. It was the first place I had been in Italy that had ornate plasterwork and not just frescos.
I believe the villa has now been demolished which is a shame as I would of liked to return at a later date to explore the rest of the site.
Villa Azzura is an abandoned hospital in an Italian city.
A large site made up of a number of buildings. Some of which seem to of been redeveloped in to flats. Again only a quick visit to this site as there wasn't much that grabbed our interest, also time was getting on and we still needed to get a hotel for the night.
