Tuddenham Promary School was built in the 1960's and finally closed in July 2012. All the pupils were transferred to a nearby school at Red Lodge for the start of the next school year. Since then it has been left abandoned.
A planning application was made for six new homes and a new village hall in 2014 yet three years later it still lies in a derelict state. It seems there is local support for the project to go ahead but I believe there is an issue with the funding of the project. Its certainly not a building screaming to be saved and it would benefit the local community if the project went ahead.
