A hexagonal covered fresh water draw off tank. Surrounded by six polygonal filter beds all symmetriaclly placed. It seems more like a garden of a statley home than a waterworks.
The tank is surrounded with an ornate balustrade with a Renaissance style central gazebo which covers the central air vent.
My first visit here was late at night which was a brief strobex visit. The second visit was with Behind Closed Doors and one other. We took a selection of lighting in with us only to realise that the windows let in some beautiful light it would of been a waste not to make the most of it.
Last year I visited the Infinity Reservoir in London. Which has a far more stunning internal brickwork.
