The Reims-Gueux road circuit was established in 1926 and became home to the Grand Prix de la Marne. Many other races were held here and a number of big names took pole position at the circuit including, Stirling Moss, Jack Brabham and Jackie Stewart.
The circuit changed slightly over the years and in 1952 the track bypassed Gueux and became Known as Circuit De Reims.
Racing started to wind down here in the 1960's and in 1972 the circuit finally closed due to financial struggles.
