Old Marylebone Town Hall London: UK April 2017
So heading in to the city with Kat. We spotted a grand building surrounded with hoarding. She pinned the location to check out later.
Well its lucky we did as our London city plans didn't work out too well.
So after our fails we decided to check this place out.
Access was easy, maybe a little late to the party as I believe work had been going on since 2014 and a lot of equipment and materials were left around. A stunning building and good enough for a few shots.
Having a wander and poking heads in rooms as Kat closes a door it makes a strange sound, a sound like a mans voice. It was a mans voice, she woke him up. So our exploration was cut short there was a whole other building to look at but I don't think we missed much as it looked rather stripped.
The town hall was designed by Sir Edwin Cooper and opened in 1920. It was a popular wedding venue and even though The London Business School are taking control of the building weddings will still be held here. The renovations are due to be finished by January 2018.
