Set on the outskirts of the large hospital complex is an abandoned theatre.
While exploring Manicomio Vendetta with Maša Kores Photography and As The Light Slowly Fades we checked out this rather nice theatre.
It certainly lives up to its name, there were a lot of mosquitos and a fair few bumps on me where they had helped themselves to some of my blood.
As we arrive we are greeted with a wood panelled art deco entrance which has a large curved staircase leading up to the theatre. The wood panels have pleasant pastel tones of green growing over them and there is small sprouts of plant life which make the entrance a pleasure to photograph.
The actual theatre is dark but has a few injections of light from varying angles. It is in quite bad condition with holes in the roof and parts of the ceiling have collapsed.
In its prime it must of been the social hub of the community with regular shows. Now it lays dormant and entertains mosquitos.
