Here we have an abandoned scrapyard in Norfolk. So I guess you could say this is a vehicle graveyard.
The owner of this scrapyard Lenny Medler was known as an eccentric character. He kept his money in a home made safe which would of been kept in his makeshift home made of sheds and other bits and pieces and all this was surrounded by a DIY fence contraption which mainly consisted of crushed cars.
Sadly Lenny passed away in 1989 but his family strived to keep the business alive but with environmental guidelines changing and the cost of scrap metal the business eventually ceased operation. Apparently there 3500 cars left here stored bumper to bumper.
I believe the clearance has been ongoing by the new owners for some time, but stuff remained spread out over this large site hidden in the woods. I paid a couple of visits here during the month and even in that short space of time a coach had been removed.
