Maison Kirsch: Luxembourg August 2017

A small abandoned farmhouse in Luxembourg. Apparently there was a brandy distillery here which is how the location gained its name.

It was late afternoon when we arrived mixed with the overgrowth it was fairly dark inside but that kind of added to the atmosphere.

Apparently it has been left empty for forty years but there is no way of really knowing. We had a brief chat with a neighbour who seemed rather protective of the house so he could well be the owner. Its a shame it has been left like this for so long, it could of made a lovely home. Now I think it would make a very expensive project with little return.

Maison Kirsch: There was a few belongings left behind.

Maison Kirsch: Including some nice chandeliers.

Maison Kirsch: The desk in the office was falling apart.

Maison Kirsch: The bedrooms were clearly staged.

Maison Kirsch: No idea why staging shoes next to a bed is a thing.
