Here we have a stunning abandoned hotel in Germany. Well it isn't exactly abandoned. A lovely old gentleman looks after the hotel, parts of this hotel have been out of use for around forty years and it actually closed to guests around twenty years ago. It has been kept in great condition and is available to use as a film set or for a small fee the kind Gentleman will let you in to roam freely and take photos.
The moment you enter the hotel it is like stepping in to a time capsule, from a vintage cash register to an old record player. The large wooden panelled dining room is clearly where the Hunters name originates for this hotel, decked out with chandeliers made of antlers and a large amount of taxidermy on the walls, it really does have a hunting lodge vibe.
The bedrooms are a delight to photograph all fully furnished looking ready for guests. A pleasing pastel décor theme seems to run through a number of these bedrooms.
