HF6 Power Station AKA Centrale Energie HF6: Belgium June 2017

Hidden in the corner of an industrial wasteland is this small power station. It was once powered by the waste gas from the nearby coke works which closed in the last few years. I guess due to its location it was also powered from the waste gas of the since demolished blast furnace on the same site.

There seemed to be a fair amount of activity on the site still as the clearance of the blast furnace demolition was still ongoing. We managed to avoid the workers and finally gain access. I t seemed that a number of new PIRs had been added fairly recently but we never had any issues. So we grabbed our shots quickly and got back to the car to head home to the UK.
