Squeezed inbetween live sites and other abandoned sites on the river of a certain city in Belgium is this extremely tall blast furnace.
From what I can tell it used to supply Heavy Metal by rail.
It seems some of the power is still on. Small lights glowing and a large LED display was still functional. I did read somewhere that that the power has to be left on as it can cause irreparable damage.
For some reason I wasn't really feeling this location even tho I do love exploring disused industrial sites. I couldnt spot many wide shots as there were so many distractions due to the design. I opted for my 35mm lens and I have to say I am rather pleased with the results an I think I have a slightly different selection of images to most.
