A large steelworks built in the 1960's.
Its hard to judge the size of this place from the images. It really is huge and a brilliant explore. It seems I spent more time wandering around than taking photos.
It had thae capacity for producing 1.6 million tonnes of steel using the Linz-Donawitz process. It was supplied by torpedo wagons on rail. I believe this site could well of been supplied from here HF6.
Production stopped in 2012 and the site has been mothballed since. Some of the large pots have been removed but the power is still left on. The main buiding is well lit, large LCD displays are still on and power lights on equipment still glow.
