Chateau Rouge: Belgium July 2014
The abandoned Château Rouge was built in 1889.
On tour with Behind Closed Doors and Proj3ct M4yh3m we decided to pay a visit to this old classic location.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of information on this large red brick chateau in Belgium. It is believed it was once a retirement home for the elderly. Later after WWII it was converted into a luxurious hotel, which finally closed in 2009 for financial reasons and has been forgotten ever since.
When it was first left abandoned it was full of contents and had extremely grand décor.
It was later stripped of its contents and had a rather random makeover by the police and was used for training exercises.
