This unused power station can be found on the outskirts of a Belgian town.
A power station has been on the site since the 1960s originally a coal fired plant consisting of three turbines which is now pretty much demolished.
From what I can tell this plant was commissioned in the 1980's and has recently had an overhaul to convert the boilers which are now outside of the main building.
We arrived at night and quickly found a way inside. It is a little bit tense once in the power plant all the lights are on, L.E.Ds are flashing away on equipment and there is a gentle hum from equipment still running inside. I start to make my way to the roof and enjoy some night time views before heading back down to shoot some more of the turbine hall.
At dawn we popped over to the cooling towers and we were then on our way to the next location.
