Abandoned Hotel D: Romania February 2018

This abandoned hotel was built in 1865. I guess during the tourism boom that was hitting the area at the time.

Local legend has it that there is treasure buried under the hotel which is protected by a female ghost. There are stories of people digging for the treasure and they were forced out by a mysterious figure. Now there could be some truth in part of this story. While undergoing repair works in the streets to a gas main remains of an ancient Romanian spa were found. What else may be hidden under this town? We will probably never know.
